RS production numbers are more like 700. 2004 RSs also had the front LSD.
Also note that only the original owner gets the 10yr/100k miles warranty. Subsequent owners get a shorter (6/60k i think) warranty.
If the car matches the description it could be a great deal for somebody looking for an RS.
