? on gas octanes
I've been reading that there is a big difference in performance between 91 and 93 gas. Well this might be a silly question but what about 92? Alot of our premium around here is 92 octane and I was wondering if it was closer to 93 or 91 performance wise or if it was right in the middle. What would be a safe boost to run? Thanks.

and a forklift hahahaha i like that.. 92 is well 92.. if have tuned my car to 22 psi on 92.. but i have alot done.. you could run 22 on 92, but its not something you want to do all the time.. a quick blast here or there ok... but if your at the track, find some 94, or 102.. never hurts to go higher.. just make sure its unleaded though..

Thanks. I could use 93 if I wanted but I try to fill up at work (Costco) cause its alot cheaper. Just trying to find out if I'd be better off spending alittle more and use the 93 from elswhere.

I generally use 91 and when in Oregon I used 92.. I really can't tell a difference like I can when I use 100 or a half and half of 91/100. The boys at Vishnu state that 92 seems very much like 91 so go figure.

We got 94 around here but its like $2.3* a gallon, crazy prices. Well thats all i ever put in the evo though...like a $25 fill up....Aslong as your usuing the highest octane you have available you should be cool. If you get a dynoflash or something I would let him know the octane.

You guys are lucky you have anything higher than 91. Down here in SoCal we're paying 2.30-2.40 for 91 octane, weak! That's the best we got unless you go to a shop that provides higher grade fuel. Just curious, what kind of mpg are you guys getting?
