Im so confused please help!

I had injen intake upper ic and greddy bov installed yesterday at buschur. Before these mods i was holding boost at 20psi all the way to redline. Now my boost tapers down to 16 psi at redline. The bov sounds like sh*t all it does is flutter no matter how much i tighten or loosen the spring. Buschur told me that a stock turbo on the evo wont hold boost to 20psi at redline, but i was before. I dont understand why it tapers down to 16 now and why they told me couldnt hold that much boost when i did before. Does anyone have similar mods to me with a greddy type s bov. Can you tell me how many threads you see on the screw part so i can adjust mine correctly. Please help me i dont know thaty much about turbo cars.

Also buschur said it was because the car is breathing better now so the turbo cant keep up. I thought people were running alot higher boost then 20 on a stock turbo. I dont see why adding mods to my car would make it lose power.

Considering the intake tract was changed have you checked for boost leaks? I'm not doubting David's ability or his statements, but you should be able to hold better boost that 16 PSI at redline. I do.

Good luck!

My friend had an injen intake and his did the same thing. Come to find out the tube connectors for the Injen are kind of crappy. He had three sepearte crakes in those tubes. He got rid of his Injen intake in a hurry. Check your silicon connectors in between the intercooler pipes. I believe that was his biggest problem. They were cracked, and that's what lead to his boost leak and taper.
