there's some wings similar to this from japan already that go underneath the stock spoiler, but you could always just run the lip

not quite the same but still a subtle spoiler. Theres a local guy who put the RA wing on his EVO, looks quite sharp

Steiner - similar though not exactly the same.....it's something I have been working on getting done as we have a few customers ask for something similar, so I think the final one will be what you guys are after once its all done

haha.. i had a monte carlo before the evo.. somehow i dont think the nascar insipired wing belongs on a rally car no matter how good it flows lol
maybe something more like the wing on the IS 300 SD.

also keep in mind that a spoiler like that will not see much air. the reason why we have very tall wings is to catch unperturbed air traveling well over the car and taking the downforce that is attainable up there and attatching it to the car at the trunk. hence all raced out evos use tall wings. cyber evo, sparcoevo, hks trb etc etc.
the reason why that wing works on nascar is because if you look at hte profile of the car... the roofline is relatively low especially compared to the length of the vehicle, so the air flows very well over the top to hit that spoiler.
we have a very high roofline and it's difficult to get unperturbed air so low on teh trunk. this is another reason for the existence of the vortex generators... is to smooth the air (bandaid) going over the rear wind shield. but it'll never be perfect and it'll never be as good as a hatchback style car's flow dynamics. there's just too sharp of a drop. that's the price you pay for practicality. but damn... i pay that price any day.
we got headroom 4 doors and still have cars that run 10s with full interior and run fastest lap times in the world on some circuits and play in the mud and dirt all day long. what more could you ask for? 200mph? bah.
