If this crappy gauge pack can fit, we can probably fit a head unit there instead. My suggestion would be to get one that tilts so you can read the thing. That's the worst place for gauges I've ever seen!

Sure coulda put the boost gauge in the dash where it says "lancer", but they didn't. Why I don't know. Probably cost too much for them and they want you LOOKING at the ROAD and where you are going instead of LED's or gauges, because this car has enough power to many of us in lots of trouble with the greatest of ease.
So relax, collect your cars when they get here and learn to drive them and enjoy one of the finest machines out there.

What did you expect? Like it's been said over and over by other Evo owners you don't need the ACD and AYC. They are more trouble than they are worth. Also, how else did you expect the car to come in under 30k. Some of you really need to look at it from a marketing stand point rather than a enthusiast stand point. is in the market to make money. They want to sell cars and in order for them to do that they have to make compromises. So, if you want all kinds of power and hoopla go look at a Pontiac GTO or something like that. If you want a machine that's purpose built get an Evo. Please stop complaining about this that or the other. We live in the US where there are standards that believe it or not are there for your safety. Without them we probably would go broke trying to repair our beloved cars when some sob in an suv smacks into you or you smack into them trying to show off.
