What they're doing is adding $130 each for every ticket that I have in my driving record on top of the 14 mph ticket that I'm charged for.
That's 3 tickets in last 3 years + the current ticket for 14mph over.

Grab the Deputy's gun and....
Research the ticket and beat it. I've beaten many speeding tickets, draw a diagram, detail the location of the last sign that posts the speed (if it works to your advantage). and the location of the cop, preferably obstructed view.
Explainly clearly to the judge that you had just pulled out of a side street or driveway, but a van was approaching quickly from behind and you believe the radar probably bounced of the van which was speeding, you were not speeding. Dress clean, act respectful, do not get aggravated or beligerent, as an alternative if sense you are losing, ask the judge if you can attend traffic school instead, to reeducate yourself. I did this in NY and took the course online, it was actually okay.

Let me get this straight, they are charging you over 600 dollars for a 55 dollar ticket.
I agree with you, fight it to the death. I hate to think others will be hit with tickets like this. It's obvious this is another revenue generation scheme. Thanks a lot pigs.
