you'd be suprised how cheap it is to lower a $500 comp deductible to a $250 or even $100...

companies such as USAA, Geico, and Progressive make more money if you go with a higher deductible so thier claims will be lower..

being in the auto glass field, buying 1 windshield will cover the difference in premium for 2+ years.. you can get auto glass companies to waive some/all of your deductible to help you out (we usually do this for returning customers or family/friends)... thats why i carry a $50 deductible on comp/collison...

Nationwide, 100/300/50 coverage on an '05 MR and an '02 Jeep $146/mo. Not sure about the exact number, but in the breakdown the insurance on the Jeep was about $10-15 a month higher than the Evo. We also use them for our home insurance so we get a discount.

I totalled my '03 in November, and somehow my payments went down in January (was $164/mo). No other tickets or accidents for me or my wife (27/26).

It is pretty interesting to see what other people pay for insurance in other places. You can't really compare your situation to some1 elses though...especally when they live in such differnet areas. Your insurance rates are complied from sOoo many differnet things!

I need to find a place that will insure my nasty 1995 240SX.
It has prolly about 30,000 worth of stuff, and I want coverage if it gets stolen or expolds in the garage. Anybody have a suggestion?
