i have the Code Alarm deluxe two-way alarm......i added the glass break sensor and trunk release with everything installed it was less then 450$......i had the work done at Circuit City....i know the guy who installed my alarm and he does nice work........all of the splices are soldered and taped.....unlike most of the other install shops.......

I have had no problems with the alarm.....battery life is great i have had the alarm over three months and the battery meter on the pager still reads full........LOVE THE TRUNK RELEASE....i don't know why the evo doesn't come with one....all-in-all im really happy with the alarm

got a Viper with all the mods and the bypass, took a day to do and $500, but this is CT, and prices are a bit higher. auto-start and valet work like a charm, and it is nice and sensitive to tilts and 'bumps'.

I just discovered last night my car doesn't have an alarm stock, or if it does it doesn't work. So now I defiently want a good pager alarm.

I used to have a Code Elite Series in a 95 Talon. I still have the alarm, but don't have the instructions to put it in the Evo. What is the exact name of your alarm? I looked into the newer Code alarms, but they didn't look as nice as the Elite. But yours sounds pretty nice. Oh, did you get the Code at Circuit City as well?

That is what a 2 way alarm is. The remote goes off to tell you that your car has been violated. It will tell you door intrusions, impact sensor, etc.

I admit I'm not keen on alarms, but isn't bypassing the immobilizer for the sake of convenience (TT + remote start) a bad thing? Wouldn't buying an alarm with enhanced features while not bypassing be the best solution?

I have a flashing LED similiar to the one selling on Ebay:

Added a toggle switch. Works really good. If someone steals my car I hope they total it so I can get a new one.

is this just cuz it's not common? or is there another reason. was yer install particularly clever?
