Well the non-working intercooler sprayer is only a symptom, not the cause of the problem. The 2005 EVOs don't even have a sprayer.

Also, are you from the future? (See Caption of thread)

Update. Thank you to everyone who replied. I rented a car and went staight to sears to buy some tool. I then went back to Mitsubishi's service lot and started pulling things apart. On a hunch I pulled out my UTEC and bypassed it stright to the stock ECU. Problem Solved. The UTEC Sh..t the bed!! Car runs fine and I can get it home in the morning. It costs me $125 for a tow, $45 for a rental car and $125 for a hotel, but at least I didn't have to let those hacks at Mitsubishi screw with my car. Thanks again everybody.

I hope my UTEC doesn't die on me like that. I would call TXS in the morning, pronto.

sucks that you're out that money, but for evo owners, that's good news. glad to know it wasnt anything stock that caused the problem.

glad you sorted it out before Mitsu had a chance to red flag your car (if your dealer is a *****)...

Probably would have fixed it a lot sooner if you would have mentioned your mods
