Go for the Evo IX MR is you have the $. I love the softer ride without sacrificing performance and the larger hotside that makes the car to have more torque and a nicer drive on the street.

My favorite is ACD/LSD combo And aluminum roof is cool

If he give you a killer deal on the evo 8 MR why not

 

If it aint broke, don't fix it Be happy you have an 03 that has no problem's.

 

depend on how much you'll be able to sell ur 03 and how much they r giving u the 05...how much? could u share the numbers w/ us?

 

If you're getting a new one wait for the IX and if you still want the 05 you'll get a better deal for it.

 

i've made the mistake of switching cars too soon... dont do it. wait until your 03 is paid off.

 

Im thinking of buying an 03 used with 7000 miles to drive around with and paying as much as I can off to trade for a IX

 

I am thinking of upgrading to an '05. But my theory is to wait for the IX to come out and see if i can find a really good deal on an '05.

 

i have both an '03 & '05. what i can tell you is that the only real differences are the 10.5 hot side & the front lsd/active center on the '05's. the minor differences are things like raised up buttons & thicker door seals. i say keep the '03. the difference in power with the same mods is only 15-20whp. driving skill will make up the rest...

 

whiplash your trying to get an 05 huh i personally like the mr, and im really disapointed that the ix lost the cool rear bumper for the us market. The ix is def out of the question for me hopefully they chose the right concept for the x, or ill be keeping the viii until mitsu gets there head out of there fourth point of contact
