MY Evo at the Nurburgring
First off I have to say that was the greatest 2days of my entire life. Words cannot describe the Ring experience. Everyone should put it on their "do before I die" list With that said.....
Me and my homeboy with his B16 CRX showed up earily friday morning. Before the track opened we sat around with these UK guys and had breakfast. The Brits are some funny people. We checked into out hotel room dropped of everything what wasnt bolted down, and headed to the track. When we showed up there were cars everywhere. I bout lost my load. Better than any carshow the states can bring. After seeing cars come back with smoking tires and brakes it took us a good 20min to get the ***** to go out.
But when we did WOW!!! We felt like we were going fast but we were getting passed by just about everything. 14mi of straight bliss I cant even describe it. We were only going to do one lap cause we had to drive 2hrs back, and the brakes on the CRX were telling us they had enough. But on saturday they open up the Gran-Prix circuit (extra 4mi) and they only do that 2-3 times a year and we couldnt pass it up.
Both laps the Evo did good. I drove it as hard as "I" could. Brakes didnt give me much of a problem. I got the Rotora slotted rotors and ProjectU pads. Didnt experience any brake fade but they did get loud as hell after about 5-6 turns. The handled like a dream. We were going through s-turns 100+mph. I am convinced the Evo is the car for me. Made the 2hr drive back and the car is still in good condition.
Heres a few pics...sorry so long.

Yeah it was the best "run what you brung" I have ever seen. There was even a RV on the track. They didnt even check for insurance, buy your ticket and get in line for the time of your life. Im allready making plans for my 2nd trip

It's definitely a dream of mine. The event looks a lot like any US HPDE event. But I can't afford to ship my EVO to Germany. I'd have to rent a car to drive on the Nurburgring.
Good Work!!!
