Stolen EVO? or evo Rims? Anyone?

Thieves will steal anything, even if you don't think it's worth much. They'll do it for "practice", bragging rights, or to collect "trophies" of their work. You can never be too over cautious.
They probably stole that floor jack to use. That's why they just left it on the car. I heard it was legal in Texas for an owner to shoot a thief if they catch them in the act.

Watch out for your Recaros guys. I was at the dealer getting my free oil change and noticed several new cars on the lot with broken glass and missing seats and center consoles. The service manager said that a total of 8 cars had seats stolen. This is in the San Francisco bay area.

Had 3 sets stolen.. 1 set of a reg. evo 8. another off a evo RS. and a whole set stolen off a evo MR. It sucked bigtime. walked into work on a sat. morning and all three evos were infront of the showroom up on blocks..

Don't think that wheel locks will solve all your problems, either. I had wheel locks on my Integra and the rims were stolen twice. They just take a socket that is a little bigger than the lock and hammer it on around the lock (and then trash the lock and socket when they're done).
The first time, they stole my car from my apartment lot and drove it to another lot 2 blocks away to steal the rims. The second time, I had an alarm with an immobilizer so they just jacked it up in my lot and stole them. Both times, they used my spare tire and jack to lift the car up and left it like that .
edit: Oh, and I moved 2 weeks after the second time and never had another problem. Be careful if you live near lawrence and el camino in Santa Clara, CA.
