Increased displacement != more power? That is a crock of bull****. Read more about thermodynamics...only place I can think of this not being true is on the Miller cycle, which makes more power with less displacement than a 4-stroke Otto cycle.

There have been no actual releases by Subaru on the 06 STi. Most of those pictures are obvious photochops of 04 STi's sourced from Japanese magazines with the credibility of National Enquirer.

There's not enough info on the 06 STi to be able to judge which one is the better buy.

On another note, between the 05 EVO and STi, in terms of modding, the EVO is more easily modded, can yield better power, run more boost, etc on stock internals. It's pretty much been proven.

Really? Have you seen the Tribeca:

Given the fact that it's a complete redesign (much like the Evo X will be) I expect there to be some surprises in store in terms of specs/power output etc.
I doubt it. The USDM STi already has more HP than the JDM/UKDM STi and USDM Evo. I don't see any incentive for Subaru to up the power at this point.

The picture I posted is the Tribeca, Subaru's new SUV. That's the production vehicle.

Only concepts have been flocating around for the redesigned Impreza/WRX/STi, but they all have the same key front-end elements as the Tribeca.

In my honest opinion, you don't need ACD. It is not worth it. If you really want the car to handle better, you won't want ACD or even fancy "super AYC." If you're really into getting fancy diffs, just swap out your diffs with Cusco diffs. They will be well worth your money, but first I'd suggest buying a good set of coilovers like Ohlins and stiffening up the rear then front. I have cusco lower arm bar I and II, rear sway bar, rear v-brace, rear strut bar, and trunk bar. They help a lot. And of course a good set of tires. Trust me, ACD is not going to make you happy. But just my .02

You can tell that most of them are photoshopped pictures, based off of pictures of the current STi.
