Kuba, from all the research I've done on Evo clutches, ACT seems to get the thumbs up for best clutch for money. Many people are happy with the clutch and it seems to be holding 400+whp.

The exedy clutch isn't good for that application, why even play games, get the $500 ACT and if you use the 6 puck it will hold alot on a budget. Plenty of cars running around with them.

I have to agree with you here. I don't think it would have gone 3k MILES then mysteriously pop out.
If so maybe it is a defect with the exedy clutch?

I believe the car was launched too high RPm with too long a slip, he overheated the clutch it slipped all the way down the track. As a result it fried the plates and warped everything, which is why he couldn't get into gear.

Common assault, happens all the time with those clutches they floater plates are thin and are not designed to be axposed to that kind of heating.
