Exclamation Official Date From Hq~!!!

just got off the phone with mitsubishi HQ (714-372-6000)
she said that the EVOLUTIONS will be sold on FEBRUARY 8th!!!!
she also told me to check with my dealership because the actual shipment dates vary depending on location, so i called my dealer (stohlman's mitsubishi) here in northern virginia(703-448-9300).

Paul told me that he will get them in their parking lots in between February 26-29th and will sit in their lots for customers to view. Paul will have them on sale starting MARCH 2nd, and THAT is the OFFICIAL DATE.

i dont know what the lady from mitsu HQ meant by saying that they will be sold on FEB 8th. maybe that means that dealers near the HQ will have them sold starting FEB 8th?

anyhow, the EVOLUTIONS will be sold starting FEBRUARY 8th, and it's OFFICIAL, not just any rumor.

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

ITs not a big deal whether this is right or wrong. The car will get here when it gets here. Does it really matter? We have all been waiting so long for it, a few days or even weeks does not phase me in the least.
Only when my dealer calls and says my EVO is being unloaded from the truck, will I actually believe any date anyone gives.

sheesh mr. moderator

i was just reassuring your viewers that the they should expect their evo's really soon.

i did some research and posted some news up here for the viewers to read and look what i get from the moderator.
i'm starting to not like this forum because of moderators like you.

i don't know if you meant to sound like an a**hole but if not, then word your sentences correctly(example: instead of saying "does it matter?"....say "i don't think it matters").

if you want viewers to keep coming back, then don't treat us like sh*t.

Yeah, Mr. Mod, let the kiddies have some FUN! You sound like an old grouch.

I know I'd be pumped as hell with any good news... this is, after all.. a RUMOR Forum.

Unfortunately for me... I KNOW I must wait until April to get mine, but I'd love to see other guys cruzin the streets before then.

Lets all lighten up.

He didn't say it doesn't matter, he asked "does it really matter". No offense, but read things carefully maybe even twice and usually you won't get the wrong idea.

I think our moderator friend is simply posting a valid observation that he has made. We've had a lot of information (even from ) that's been incorrect, or the dates have been pushed back. It'd be nice if they were here then, but I wouldn't put any money on it myself.

Please re-read the post again. TearItUpSports never insulted you in any way. He actually brought up valid points about time not mattering, especially after the apparent delays, etc.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone. I dont usually proof read what I write, so I only know what I am thinking, not what I say. I wasn't implying that the information wasn't correct. Just saying that at this point I only believe that the car is here when it is. Since we have no control over it, I don't think the date really matters. Personally I will be just as happy if it arrives in 3 months as I will if it was tomorrow.

For the record though, I am only a moderator of the tech forums for my technical knowledge, not because I am unbiased. IMHO the rumors forum is fair game, and I am stating an opinion just as anyone else would.
I also am receiving one of the first allocated cars so this has direct relevence to me.
My real opinion is that I wouldn't believe anyone in headquarters on the other end of a generic phone line, any more than I believe anything my dealer tells me. Those people on the other end of the phone are likely no more knowledgeable than any of us, and quite possibly could be temps even. I worked in phone tech support. I know how call centers work.

Also please see my point of view. Since the time I have been here (well over a year and a half), if I believed every bit of info from a reliable source that has been posted here I would have gone to a mental institute by now. At this point I just don't care about delivery, or rumored specs, or proposed wheel hp, or quarter mile times. All I care about is the day I start driving it whatever that day is.

Respectfully,

Respectfully,

like i said b4, all i did was a little research on when the evo's will finally start being sold. after i hung up with them, i was so excited that i wanted to tell the whole world, so i posted it here.

i understand now after reading about your experience not to believe any info from a reliable source. but still, this is just "news" that i wanted to share with everyone.

lets all have a .....get .....and be
