Tired of cleaning my bumper
I've got an 03' Evo with a Greddy Ti catback which is an awesome exhaust, super light and sounds really good.
Since the USDM bumper sticks out more than the Japanese one, seems I spend a lot of time cleaning the soot from the rear bumper.
Anyway I finally got around to machining up a spacer that will move the rear section of the exhaust back about .800".
Worked out really slick. The rear hangar actually had a fair amount of extra length so all I had to do was install the spacer and gaskets (Oh yeah, and clean the bumper) and that was it.
Got it installed today and it looks nice, hope it cuts down on the soot and you can actually see a little more of the tip which is nice. Before you would have to look under the car to even see the tip on the deal.

Here's a pic of the spacer in place, sorry it's kind of a crappy shot but you get the idea . . .

I made a solid model of the flange and used that to program the toolpath.
Here's a screen cap of the setup . . .
