2005 evo discount
#4
Evo Joe,
I know this is a little premature, but do you think there will be any deals to be had on the IX soon after launch? I'm interested in the MR and given that it's a standard production model and not a limited edition (like the VIII MR) I would think this may not "fly-off-the-shelf" with an MSRP of around $36k.....may be different in LA though?

Most of my customers I charge 500 over invoice, but I also give them the assurance that the car has never been test driven and I have it flatbed towed to and location with in 100 miles of the dealership.
Ask for invoice you might get a color you don't want, or an Evo beat to s**t.

LA has the biggest market for the Evo, and unfortunately sometimes the biggest Mark Up (Except for Hawaii). For the MR's, more than likely you will not be getting any discount when they first come out. But if you interested, last year we took deposits for the MR 3 months in advance and guaranteed the customer MSRP. We sold 15 like that. Plus if you were to do it that way you could meet the drop off truck at the dealership to make sure no one else drives your Evo.

800 mile damn
Well you got a good deal. But most evo owner don't mind paying a little more, just to have the peace of mind that some ******* salesman didn't launch the car or drift it through a corner. I'm one Evo owner that can say he got his Evo with only 5 miles on it and the only two people to drive the car was the guy who took it off the truck and ME.
oh yea my customers can say the same thing too

I bought my 2005 Apex silver MR for 100 dollars over invoice! $33,500! The best deal I ever got!
I love it ! As for the IX, not worth it in my opinion!!
