hey i recently bought a new evo and i was wondering about the infinity sound system, i brought my car to a audio shop because i have a pioneer flip out tv/dvd player that i want to put in my car and they said that i would have to put all new door speakers in my ride. i think thats kind of odd. all i want is to put the head unit in my car so that i can have something else besides the ugly looking stock radio in there. i will replace my speakers when i get the money after i finish upgrading a few things for performance. im asking if anybody knows how i would put it in my car or if they could send me in the right direction like a website or something i would appreciate it and i was wondering if my subwoofer would still work?

dose you sound system come with a infinity amp?

Run the hell away from that shop. It is a fairly basic head unit swap using the correct adapter. Its thier job to know things like this, if they don't I would not trust them with my car.

The head unit should be a direct plug and play. you might need a wiring adapter / harness for the head unit to the car wiring
if the headunit (probably does) has RCA preouts I would use these to connect to the Mitsu Amp, DO NOT USE the standard speaker wires from the Headunit as these will have an amplified signal and will damage your existing Amp.
