project mu b-force,

crazy harsh on the rotors, stops good, fades slow, but when it does fade, they suck.

less dust than stock though.

DS2500s... stock backing plates and fiber shims...

No noise what so ever forward... I get a little squeak in reverse.

Breaking is awesome, with a little less dust than OE.

$234 shipped for front and rear

I also have the DS2500 mounted in the rear. Fronts are still the OEM pads and are in good shape. I removed the bonded shims from the OEM pads and installed them with the new pads and have not had any problems with noise.

Best wishes,

You should make this a poll... I'm still on stock pads but haven't decided what to get yet. I definitely want something that's geared toward daily driving since I don't track at all, so something with not a lot of noise. Less dust than OE would be nice also, but I'm on CO where it's impossible to have a clean car for more than a week so the dirty rims just blend in.

what was that piece you had to retain from your stock pads....its like some kind of shims or something...so it wouldn't be loud...I can't remember...its on a thread somewhere, I think a Project Mu NS thread. But if you use it, it'll be more quiet

I have Hawk HPS pads on front and rear with no squeeking at all. Did you use grease on both sides of the shims and on the sides where the spring retainer touches?

Project Mu, front and read were installed on my car this weekend. So far they seem to work real nice and there is hardly any dust. Gotta love that.

The pads need to be warmed up for about a few mins of driving but once warm they stop like mad with little or no fade. Best of all NO DUST! Not a bit even after a week of driving there is little or no dust at all. Great pads!
Are you saying the Project MU ns pads warpped your rotors? Kind of seems like it with the way you said it. Are the Project MU SCR Pro that much better?

No. It was the way it was worded. My Stock rotors were warped and I hated the stock pads and brake dust. It was a full upgrade with Project Mu NS pads allround, SCR Pro front and stainless steel lines.
