what kind of pads are you using

just recently i got my self some brembo crossdrilled rotors and hawk pads. the only reason i went with hawk was cause the guy was taking so high about them he told me they were quiet, low brakedust and all that other stuff but my problem is that they are soooooooooooooooooo ****ing loud and i dont know what to do now. i was just wondering what kind of pads and roters are you using and how do u like them/ if your using hawks please state your likes or disslikes

Project MU NS. Great pads. My fronts were warped and I was tired of the stock brake dust. Got a great deal on the pads. Upgraded to the Project MU SCR Pro fronts and stainless lines and Superblue ATE Brake fluid. The brake system is now at what it should be in terms of potential.

The pads need to be warmed up for about a few mins of driving but once warm they stop like mad with little or no fade. Best of all NO DUST! Not a bit even after a week of driving there is little or no dust at all. Great pads!

I have the ferrodo ds2500. Great when warm, but they are loud and have alot of dust. I took them out to Virginia International Raceways, ran two sessions back to back for 2 days. 14 sessions total, I skipped a couple. Still about 3/4s of the pads left = awesome wear quality. Add SS braided brake lines and ATE Superblue = best braking I ever felt. I would like to try the Hawk and the Project Mu pads. I hear good things about them too.

Forgot to mention, after 40+ minutes of straight running, I did notice some brake fade. Mild, but still there.

ds2500, and on daily driving, mine have less dust than stock, but track racing or hard braking, and dang, and it's like pink dust too... but they squeal a bit less than the stockers

Find a shop or dealer that knows Evos and have them put your shims back in (if they are out) and put stop squeel behind the shims.
