I have the same brakes on my Evo right now. I got them from from a chap named Justin at the Lancer Register. So far, the brakes are doing well. Especially right now that my car is up from 467HP to 523HP to the wheels

Hmm, Jocce, I think you are lacking in the suspension department.... I cannot see any seperate gas canisters.... and HKS springs really aren't the best, honest, try something like Eibach made to specifications and I'm sure that Öhlins have their own supplier. Which Öhlins shocks are those?

JoCCe, Eibach are better for sure, they will make you springs after calculating all factors and taking into account what you want to do with the car, basically those are racing springs. The racing Öhlins are extremely comfortable if set up properly, I'm quite sure they are more comfortable than the road version can be, due to better efficiency of the damper. Claudius's Öhlins are very comfortable indeed (but that's probably because he's such a *****)

Prospeed have talked to the Öhlins headquarter (Öhlins is a swedish company) and some "experts" and they all say that the real "race" setup is not any good for everyday use on Swedish public roads ... according to them the road & track works much better ... they say that the "race" setup only is adjustable between really hard and f*cking hard ... and that would really not work on the Swedish roads with all it´s potholes and bumps ... I belive them ... but the future will show what I think is right for me ...

Jocce,
on this I must agree with Claude and Michael, the racing OHLINS, as well as others competition dampers will be much better. They are usally harder just because when you buy those expensive shocks is because you prefer to go really fast than a compromise between handlig and comfort, but if some suspension specialist set them for the road, and if you buy soft springs, ie 2.5kg front istead of the 5.7kg I have, 8.0kg claudius have or 11.0kg that are used in tarmac rally, they will be more comfortable than the others. And if ohlins themselfes say that they would not be ok for evey day use is because they don't want some people that are not professional teams to go back to them just because they didn't know the feel of a competition damper, or because they make a little noise. And they don't know that you will make drifts on a public road at 200km/h !
Here in France there is STAC, a very good suspenion specialist that make ohlins, special springs and build rally cars, and Claudius bought some road monotube bilsteins for his old m3, with custom springs and settings. He told the guy that he did not want a compromise and that he didn't care about comfort, just about grip!
He had to go back there 3 times to ask them for new custom settings because his suspension was too soft... Now with his evo ohlins thety start to understad that we want competition stuff not tuning!
BTW that was just to clarify, but the normal ohlins are already more than enough to have a good suspension and are probably good quality for the price, so don't worry too much, but when you will want to be at the real limit you will prefer gr.n ones.(have you seen Claude special ohlins?)
Michael ,
About the springs, the ones fitted with normal road ohlins are the standard type, and the standard eibachs are not custom, and maybe the hks are better!
If you talk about competition springs you are right!

hehe!
I didn't read that Jocce!
BTW what is missing on your evo now to be ready to accelerate?
I know about the rims, but not the ones you are buying! Is your front hood carbon fiber?
And also what about the oil cooler? The air duct on the front bumper is enough for it?
