replacement for oem tire

I just wanted to know the best replacement for the Advans is. I'm looking for something way cheaper and a tire that is going to last at least 20,000 miles. Can anybody help me out?

Do you want UHP tires or All-seasons?

BTW there is a whole section devoted to tires and such sponsored by Tire Rack.

I have the Goodyear FI GS-D3's. They offer good handling once broken in. Exceptional traction in the rain.

Toyo Proxes T1-S. Edge Racing has them for $136. Best price I have found. http://www.edgeracing.com/tire/544/

I have had them on the car for about 200 miles and they grip really well (I haven't pushed them real hard) thus far. You can fill the side wall flex a little, but not too bad. They are a good replacement for the Advan's IMO.

For the dry falken azenis sport. You must go 245/45's and those are the closed thing in terms of grip. The downfault would be that these tires are dangerous in the wet when tread is low and tires are heavy.

You will be dissappointed with a/s. Sort of losing the whole point on having an ultra high performance car if you dont' have the tires for them. I used my contenital extreme contact for the winter and about to put my advan back on

Thanx all, I purchased the BFGoodrtich G-force T/a KDWs today on tire rack for $149 a piece today. I wanted somethin that would last a little longer and that wasn't bad on price. My buddy has them on his SRT-4 and loves them. Thanx for the input guys.
