I buy my oil from Target or Wal-Mart and a filter from my local mitsu dealer. Total cost is $28. Labor is free since I do it myself. Oil changes are very easy and there is even a write up on it.

Dude honestly I would NEVER allow Midas, pepboys, or any other service center touch my car. You never know who you are gonna get. Changing your oil isnt rocket science but you do have to be careful............if you dont do your own oil changes regularly, I would suggest that you find a friend that does....or better yet, someone who owns an evo............remember to keep all your reciepts and log the dates that you did the oil change.....otherwise you could risk loosing your warentee....also, depending on your warentee status you may want to buy oem mitsu filters.........I personally like the mobil 1 filters but again it's that damn mitsu warentee you gotta watch out for. Do a search and you will find LOTS of info.

The Mitsubishi dealer does mine for free. All scheduled maintenance is free for the first couple years or something like that.

Remove the cap will help a great deal (Gravity)
Yes, I do.
