I think octane is octane, I have run 110 LEADED from the local dragstrip for 20,000 miles! no problems, no O2 senssor issues yet.

It has lead and will wipe out your cat, and in time take out the O2 sensors. Then if you get caught pumping it into your car, that is a Fed crime (no road tax on avgas). Other than that, no problem.

Someone posted a thread about a year ago about 100LL AvGas.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=108626

I have run it several times in my car. I have not noticed any problems with fouled o2 sensors or a decrease in throttle response (I also do not have a catalytic converter installed.) Take what you read with a grain of salt. There are a lot of opinions about whether or not you should run 100LL in our cars. But for me - it works great to boost octane, and it's significantly cheaper than race gas.

I would not use it. Here's why: Leaded Av gas is designed to burn, BTU power rate @ low RPMS. Airplanes do not cruise at 6000-8000 rpms like a 2 litre engine does. Av gas is just what the handle says nothing more. It will burn but not at optimum combustion efficency for a small displacement high revving engine.
