HELIX is freakin' LOUD! I'd go for the Greddy Ti, good luck.

I love the way my Helix catless TB sounds. It's not for everybody considering it is so loud. The only issue is that it hugs the left side of the exhaust hole and can burn the inner part of the bumper. However, this can easily be fixed by an exhaust shop in like 2 seconds.

In the group that I run around with there is a Helix, a Buschur and I run a Greddy Ti.

-The Helix is VERY loud but looks nice under the car. It is coupled with a Helix dp and cat delete pipe. It sounds very loud and "open" at idle but great under load.

- The Buschur looks nice and sounds incredible under any load especially full tilt. It is coupled to a dp (dunno who's) and a cat delete. Again very loud at idle.

- The Greddy sound seems to be a bit more refined at idle with a mid to deep burble. It is working with a dp and high flow cat. It looks great but does not clear the rear fender, which is its biggest downfall. (I have heard of guys welding on 2" to the test pipe / cat to extend.) It also sounds indredible at any throttle position and especially WOT.

Does anybody have any performance dyno results of these different exhausts? What I heard is that the HKS Hi-Power is the best for the Evo. Also will titanium rust after a while?

Thanks

Not to go off-topic, but what's a DV? I see it in quite a few mod lists.

wow since no one at all has mentioned the Perrin its going to get my vote. It looks great and offers a nice rumble although with my cams my friends call my car a tractor ... I've heard other EVO's but have never paid attention to the axleback. With the perrin you do get some highway drone but nothing an aftermarket stereo cant get rid of hah.

My car dyno'd at 333 with a full perrin exhaust minus the fact I used UR for the test pipe and a whole crap load of other mods but I mean it cant be that bad haha.

My Greddy Ti mated to a Perrin DP and Test Pipe was LOUD!! It did sound cool though and the only thing I could find wrond with it was the rear bumper clearance that has already been mentioned.

Ditto. I love the Perrrin TB. I personally think its the best sounding. Plus it looks/fits great. May not have the absolute highest HP gains though.
