Stock Dynoflashed Cars 1/4 Mile Times
#2
I second this. Someone needs to do a baseline for all of these ECU flash products. What we need is a Dyno chart of a stock car, and then one of the same car after the flash, for each available product. I wish one of the car magazines would take this on as a project. They could expand it to other cars as well, just do a flash comparrison issue for sports compact cars. I bet it would be a pretty hot selling issue.

I know someone who bough their car and from the dealer he took it straight to the track and did a Crazy 12.9....... Also my buddy has the TBE, AMS's MBC, Fuel Pump and AFC II. The maniac ran 12.2 on stock tires and everything else. Hows that for some crazy *** numbers. I imagin that a flashed Evo should be mid 12's with good driver.

My car is flashed (dynoflash) with hks intake pipes, cat back, afc2, mbc, and forge recirc valve. I can run 12.90s all day long on pump gas with a full tank of gas, subs in the trunk and even the spare.

I am also intersted to hear some track times from my new boost controlled flash.
The bost controlled flash on a stock car is a really stealth mod and super BANG for the buck.
Its so new I doubt there are more than 20 of them out there . . . . I am sure one will get to the track soon
It did make 300 whp on one stock MR - which was strong
A MR SCCA T2 car won the pole and lead its class for 18 laps two weeks ago with a bone stock engine and my flahs tune also which was nice - that car did 328 whp with 100 octane race fuel

With the mods in my sig I went from 207 to 272 whp on a Mustang dyno (yeah, Mustang's suck for comparison, think of it this way, I gained ~65whp)... if that helps anyone at all. Also, the sad thing, everyone here that had recieved the first batch of the boost controlling flash have at least an exhaust now as well as the flash... but I can say that after my mods I was able to pass a lot more cars out at Spring Mountain A LOT easier, the power you gain from the flash is in all the right places for all types of racing, I come out of a corner and floor it and I instantly have power (without having to downshift to a rediculously low gear but also assuming I'm not in a rediculously high gear)!!! In short, I can drive on the freeway in 5th and have enough power to enjoy driving in 5th at ~70mph. And in even more short: get a flash, you won't regret it!
!!!Oh yeah, and remember to get GOOD gas you'll use all the time after the tune when you get tuned!!!
I know this may not have been any help, since I'm not a stock flashed car, but... well... okay, maybe it was entirely pointless to post this long post.
