Insurance Going Up

Insurance Going Up
I live in VA with State Farm Insurance, and recently my Auto Insurance has gone up because the safety rating has recently been changed. Has anyone else noticed this happening?

I made a thread about this a couple weeks ago. It turned into "I pay $$$$/month" thread. Anyways, I figured they increase premiums because they were insuring it for too low in '03 and '04. Now they have historical data of cost, repairs, thefts, etc. for the EVO.

Geico stuck mine up too. Basically what they said is because the risk on the car has gone up. Now we know who to be thanking dont we??? Its all these morons that cant drive that like to drive fast cars and run them off the road. The EVO community has no one else to blame but itself. Our cars dont have a high risk from theft, and only a slight risk from vandalism. So place the blame on the driving habits of the owners, not me or you or any of the safe and competent ones, but on those who cant understand that every car has limits, as does every driver. Driving within those limits is what separates the men from the boys. So do us all a favor and either figure out what the limits are and drive within them, or go buy a Honda

That's exactly why the national age to get a driver license should be 18. Also mandatory retesting every X years would be good too. but then what excuse would the insurance companies have for high rates?
