Do you collect magazines that review the Evo?

The Evo IX is mentioned in the Road & Track magazine that was delivered this week. It's a 1-pager with impressions from their first drive. I get R&T, C&D and Automobile by subscription and I set aside the first issues of each magazine that contained articles about the Evo. I even went to Borders and bought the issue of Car where the Evo finished 2nd in their worldwide comparison of cars. I only have a few magazines featuring the MR and I don't plan to keep any that mention the IX.

Do you keep a magazine when it contains an Evo review?

The only magazine that I kept that featured the EVO was the June 04 Sport Compact magazine titled "EVO ORGY". Only reason I kept it was because it was a month after I got the EVO and it had a lot of suggestions on mods.

haha I actually made a laminated book of all the Evo articles I have gotten. I was really bored one night and decided I wanted to put an Evo book together with all the reviews, articles, tuning write-ups, pictures, etc. It's my homage to my baby!!

Yea, i have too many magazines with EVO's in it. I like to read the articles cause it gives me ideas of what to do with my car. I especially read any articles involving new mods for the EVO.....i like to see what new parts are on the market. My parents yell at me cause i have so many freakin car magazines all over the house. Oh well, they're just jealous....or at least id like to think so!

I like car mags. I don't buy them because it has an Evo, but it usually draws my attention.

I was in a CVS drugstore a little while back and on the magazine shelf was a 2-year-old copy (with marker writing on the cover even) of the Car and Driver that featured the Evo before it came out. I couldn't believe it was there! As if some employee had been reading it for 2 years and then somehow left it on the rack Needless to say, I grabbed it and took it up to the counter. It was so old, it didn't even ring up at the register, so the lady had to type the price in from the cover. It's like finding a Shaq rookie card at 7-11 Yes, I keep all issues of every mag I can find that mentions the Evo. Even the Brit Mags you can buy at Tower and Borders (eg. FQ400 beats Zonda... I love that issue!)

edit: The issue was March 2003, the cover story was "The hottest Hunk- A Rally-Bred Pocket Rocket!"
