Wow, you have bad luck or the cop thought you guys were racing. I live just north of Boston and been in the area for many years. I never had any problems with the Boston police or State police. I have had my fair share of tickets but never **** like that!
Always been treated fair and deserved what I got, sorry to hear about your experience.

Once the blue and red lights go on, its every man for himself. You can wait for your friend, just do it a mile or two away. He'll call you afterwards. If it were me getting the ticket in a situation like this, I would hope my friend would get the heck out of there and not get a ticket. Im not surprised at all you got one. It sucks, but you were kinda asking for it by sticking around. In those cases, the cop could have pulled either of you over, he just chose your friend. The fact that you stuck around only means that he was able to ticket both of you.

Also, what makes you think your STOCK exhaust was the reason you got a ticket? Sounds like you guys just got busted for speeding... BTW a lot of people get pulled over for 10 over. 10 seems to be the magic number for a lot of officers.

Im at step 13, theres no way in hell that **** is gonna make me eat 2 points and ruin my almost perfect driving record. My friend who has been ticket free for 2.5 years will be royally screwed if he was found responsible for this. Hes at step 27 right now.

Fight it, and next time, don't pull over, my dad got pulled over for "Exibition of Speed" right behind me one time, cuz he was trying to keep up... we fought it with some good ol' fashioned Physics... Proved to the court (and the pissed off officer) that at the rate he was accelerating, he would've done 0-60 in 30 seconds... They dismissed the case, it was funny as hell. Are the stock outlets really that big? That's insane, why are they that big?

Oh on another note, I drove up like a quarter mile and busted a U-turn before parking at the lot near the spot where my friend got pulled over.
Does anyone have the Greddy certificate stating that they are legal? I think my friend will need that in order for him to get off the modified exhaust charge. Please PM me if you have a copy of it. Thanks.

So, how did you prove this in court?

10 in a magic number. IN Ga only a state trooper can pull u over if u are going less than 10 miles over the speed limit. They say your speedomoeer can ary by +/- 10 mph so thats why cops dont bother.

Ah yes, I should've known someone would ask... The officer had written down the speed she tagged my dad going, and the distance she had traveled behind him... My dad also had measured that distance and looked down at his speed-o when her lights turned on. 200yrds, ~50mph... we did some kinematic equation stuff and mailed it to the judge when he was taking it under "advisory" They didn't even ticket him for going the 5mph over the speed limit, they dismissed the whole thing cuz the officer somehow thought we were next to each other...

you guys are nuts... i would've went right down to the barracks... claimed harassment, and took his srg to a mitsu lot then and there and said, look... see... stock... that way, if you'd just so happened to get pulled over again by the same guy, you have a report to fall back on... it works... also say the officer said "i'mma gonna getch all y'all u no good rich boy punks for not havin' a rotted ol' power ram lika me"

and yes... stock tip is 4"...
