well i guess some of u dont know how to read...the winner of the review is the 8500 X50, closely followed by valentine 1.
in any case the one or the other is a good investment.

your radar will bip only if they have their radar/lazer on. that s why it is called a " radar detector" it not a cop detector lol

Will these Radar work in Europe? I wonder if French use same type of technology to catch fast driver?

If you want the best unbeatable combination. The escort 8500 x50 with the zr3 laser shifter. Nothing comes close.

V1 with the new POP detection. For awhile there Valentine was lagging behind the Passport due to the lack of POP detection. The valentine, although more expensive, is the better detector. Plus, you have the option of upgrading as new technology is released.

You can get whatever you want, but I've had them both and I prefer the Passport 8500. I also get false Laser alarms from time to time and have no idea where they come from. If you get the alarm from a real Laser you are toast anyway, so it's kind of a waste..... I hear that some of the other radar detectors in the market are quite good as well and cost a fraction of the V1 or even half of the Passport.... I don't know if they are as good or good enough.... Personally, I think the V1 drives me crazy with false radar alarms and costs way too much money. I don't care about the arrows, it makes no difference where the alarm comes from, I always react to them. IMHO, they are all to be considered threats, no matter what the V1 says....

here try this out.

join radardetector.net and start reading for yourself and find one that meets your needs.

I would suggest getting a 8500 x50 or RX-65 off of ebay for $225 and then picking up the blinder m-20 extreme laser jammer.

for more reviews I would check out radarbusters.com and radartest.com and speedzones.com

go read read read

I have a passport 8500 (not the X50), and it is great if the cop is blind since the thing seems to go off only when the cop is in plain view. Other than that it is great
