Mags liking the IX, vs us NOT!
I personally think the IX could easily be worth the money, especially if you don't already own an EVO. Unfortunatly a lot of people on here don't think so, which I think is funny because all 3-4 magazines I've read up on the IX and they all love the new features. They love the MIVEC, etc, etc.
I just wanted to see everyones thoughts on that comparison

Look at the Car & Driver where they did the final write-up of their long-term '03 Evo 8. I couldn't have disagreed more with pretty much every word in that entire article. The guys from Car & Driver are complete losers masquerading as car enthusiasts (except for Brock Yates). The rest of them, Bedard, Phillips, their stupid editor (Csereese or however the hell you spell it). Losers, all.
So, I think we know a lot better about the Evo than the car magazines.
Actually, I remember (and still have both issues) where Car & Driver gushed over the 2003 Evo, and after reading those articles, I decided that the Evo was the car I needed to test drive.
Funny how their opinion changed after two years.
I'm convinced they gush over new cars to help increase hype which in turn increases sales.
BTW I cancelled my subscription to C&D after reading that total load of BS they called a Long-Term Review.

Most car mags are pretty stupid. I usually look at the pictures and specs and pay no heed to the "editors" who seem to have been barely able to attain a grade school diploma. I have actually seen spelling errors and misinformation in these so called car magazines.

Go to sleep, old timer. Oh crap! I think I saw some kids playing on your lawn! Better go out and yell at them to stop being happy and youthful then attempt to lower their high spirits with stories about how you did two tours in 'Nam or the Pacific theater while begging them to restore your plundered youth with their young, sweet dag. Wait! I have a better idea, go drive your S4 around and make sure never to use a turn signal and randomly hit the brakes when driving on the highway, that ought to show them younguns who's boss!

thank god someone said something, i didnt want to be the d*ck that said it. But back to the subject, just about every magazine rants and ravs about a new car. It is just the nature of the business. But i dont think that we dont like the IX it is just the fact is that it is not a big enough improve ment for the evo owners here to trade in the VIII for the IX..thats all

don't forget these editors are all 50-60+ years old who all have back, neck, head, shoulder problems (not to forget penile erectile problems) and are all *****-whipped to non-human forms by their wives....their penile erectile problems probably contribute to that. So...how can you expect these editors to like the *****-breaking ride of the EVOs especially theirs have shrunk to the size of raisins??
They all have sight impediment and need bifocals....so how can we expect them to like the lightning fast steering response?? They can barely see the road and make out the signs.
Youth is something you will only have once and once you start complaining about the ride comfort instead of the lack of S-AYC...then you know you have lost it.
