$23,500 to $24,500 is a good price. I had an offer of $23,600 on my 03 with 36k miles on it that I turned down.

Ironically, some guy bought a used one with like 25K miles on it the day before for $28,500 from the same stealership!
You gotta know what you're doing.
This was back in December of '03 as well.
Definitely offer low...like 22-23K... and go from there.

but the Bid end of this spread for this car should be around 23k to 23.5k.
bid/ask spread...I know I'm a geek, I actually work with securities so my life during the day revolves around this stuff..lol

now he's just gambling...
in my profession, he's got to cash out now before he pushes it too far, don't get greedy...it's about valuation, not pushing a someone to the brink, market for securities or cars are not stupid...better take a good deal/market price and thank god you didn't get screwed.

The next month I turned around and bought a 2004 RS for $25,500 out the door.
