Plain an simple i'm looking at a 2003 evo with 10k miles on it they want 25,900 for it. I guess the real question is how much should offer 24,000.00

I would not pay $25,900 that's for sure. I'm guessing it's a GSR right? I would pay somewhere around $23,000, but that's just me.

I had 1k miles on it when I got it home, but it came from Southern GA, to East TN, then to my house. So that's the only reason why. I'd say offer the dealer no more the 24k-24.5k. you gotta remember. the last owner was probably given 20-21k for trade in. So you know there gonna wanna make a few thousand off of the deal. it's a price you pay when you buy a car like this thru a dealership. unless, you know somebody that'll help you out.

$23,000 is too much if you can buy one new for $26,000 ( RS Invoice for 2005 is $26,333). Frankly, I wouldn't touch a used EVO for any amount of money.

that's the best thing to do. go there with some cash in hand and offer the salesman 22k if he doesn't take then say ok and just walk away.

I heard that the lowest is 22k but it's got like 30k miles on it. So I think it will be very difficult to get one at 10k for 22k....but who knows.

10k or 22k....its still a 2 yrd old car AND the new EVO IX is coming out so, I think 21 is a little too low...i would aim for gettin it for 24k or 24,500 OTD. Good luck with your purchase.

If you can buy a new evo for 26k than you should go into the car business.
