Honestly I'd take the chances of being caught stealing 20 EVO's instead of taking the chance of stealing an ugly Subby. Your EVO will be stolen as easily or maybe even more of a chance.

Dude, get the Evo! It would seem that the Subarus and Evo's have a market for parts, but I think because the Evo has such an easier platform to modify, nobody is after the stock parts.

The STi on the other hand, well, parts can be taken and fitted to the WRX, so yes, I see your point. Logically they would have a higher demand...good luck with your purchase. As long as you h ave your ducks in a row, go to Bell South Mitsubish, South Amboy. Great people over there. If Jay Cardoso still works there, talk with him about financing and stuff...hes a great guy.
I am from Northern NJ.

Read through some of the articles here http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=16
And you will see what I am tlaking about. At least 2-3 cars stolen a week.

+1 on Immobilizer!

That's some funny ish. Get the Clifford Matrix 3.5 (RSX 3.5). Damn good alarm, even comes with remote start and has nice add-on features like a tilt sensor that senses if you're car is jacked up or about to be towed (an option a thief might look into if he can't get past the immobilizer).

Hiding a fuel pump kill switch is very common to integrate into the typical DSM with upgraded fuel pump wiring. That's something that will drive them nuts even if they hotwire the car unless they want to tear it to peices which will take time and certainly attract attention.

I like the fuel pump kill switch. Is that hard to do?
