Don't.
I had a 97TT since new and traded it in for an 03 and never looked back. Sure a 400+whp Supra is real easy to achieve, but it is no where near as fun. I likened it to the lines of a Japanese muscle car, that could handle (but not as razor sharp as the EVO).
FYI, if you do get one, get a hardtop, much rarer, stiffer, and lighter.
Oh, and "HaIm".

I've heard the same exact thing from other MK4 owners. They said that the car was fast...but it was "mushy" compared to the Evo. Going fast in a straight line only gets old quickly.

Supra = old news
I don't know about going from a car that has a flourishing aftermarket to one where the market is fading... meaning it would cost you more money and time in the long run... so unless you're hopelessly in love with that car... don't do it.
