Aps Bov or Greddy type s recir w/ single spring mod
Ive been researching both bovs and i cant decide between the two please let me know your experiences with idle dipping or stalling on either one and let me know if you have an aftermarket intake. Im running an injen and ive heard aftermarket intakes make the maf more sensitive which can result in idle dip issues

I cant seem to figure out what the advantage is of running a one spring mod. I tried looking into it but my head started to hurt. Too many posts an various information.
What's it do compared to two springs?

I could never get the Type S to work right. The single spring leaked and the double springs made the car jerky at part throttle. Sold it for the APS. I've never had an issue with the APS valve. No idle or stalling problems. I've never messed around with the adjustment. Holds 26 lbs without a problem. It also sounds cool at wot.

I have the APS BOV in my 05 EVO and I love it, no adjustments needed, installed right out of box. Not too loud and holds boost much better. Hands down to APS... Can't go wrong...

I did the single spring mod on my TypeS and turned the adjustment screw to 2 1/2 turns and it didnt need no adjustment whatsoever
definitely holds boost....the stocker was all over the place on the boost gauge
anywhere from 19-23psi!!!!!
the types holds boost at 19.5psi for a bit longer and tapers down like its supposed to and Ive only peaked at 21psi once
no stalling issues NOTHING!!!!
works great and holds boost like a champ
