Now in limbo

ApexEvo, mydealer did the same thing, shook hands and said
we are selling for msrp, until yesterday and he pulled that thought, that was the manager that told me that. I hope you did
find an ethical dealership. I understand they want to earn extra
money and that is fine, but when they say they are not going to
raise msrp then jack it up at the last minute, well inhale and exhale lol.

Verbal agreement is binding an can be enforced. Your word against their's though. That's why it is nice to have a witness with you. Probably not worth the trouble to pursue it but if you know people and have some time/vengance on your side then ---power to the people

I really have no reason to believe they'd go back on their word. I put a "non-refundable" deposit down in good faith and they made a good faith agreement to sell at MSRP. I have only bought 2 new cars so far (one a '99 Eclipse GST), but both times I've had a really good experience. Maybe I've been lucky or maybe I just have a personality people like and they don't want to screw with me... Either way, I'll stay positive and hope that all the other Evo enthusiasts who are awaiting their WRX fighters have as good an experience as I have with their dealers.
