I was at Autozone today just looking around .. wanted to try gold eagle's 104+ octane booster.. and saw an 11$ 12fl oz bottle of NOZ octane booster(Racing formula) It must be a newer one because on the holly website it says racing formula raises the octane 7 points so thas not even a full number.. where as this one says its a 2005 and it raises it a full 6 numbers or 60 points.. i have a pic or it in my evo webshots at the very end.. what do you think?

Those are the only ones I have ever seen. I have never seen any store bought octane boosters that claim numbers like the first one you mentioned.

 

Why don't you just go down to Sherman Williams and buy 5 gallons of the stuff for about $30!! It's called Zylene or you can also use Toulene(SP?), same stuff they use in those "Octane boosters".

This octane booster is MMT ... and its only a 12oz bottle... if i wanted to run like that all the time.. id spent 40$ and get 5gal of gt-100

Well considering im running higher due to methanol injection its fine...
Most articles ive read say that the bennifit from MMT is much Greater than Toluene...

 

theres an article on sport compact pro with certifiable results. I belive its the may or june issue that tests NOS racing formula and outlaw. The outlaw saying that it's street legal raises octane to 92.5 and the NOS give a texas like 93.7 but is not street legal and too much of this concentration "will" hurt your sensors and cat. MUCH like bud, the right amount is not so bad but when you smoke too much...your f**ked ehhh...not that great of an analogy I know I know.
