It's difficult to find a DSM in stock form nowadays.. But, there are some out there.. If you're able to find one, GET it... I've personally owned a 93 GSX, and 2 95 GST's... The GSX was running very low 12's in everyday, street form.. Very reliably.. As long as you stick to a tight servicing schedule, it'll last a looong time.. I sold it with 133,000 miles on the clock running those low times with stock motor.. One of my 95's had very close to same mods and also no probs.. They are very potent motors..
