I think I have all of you beat... I have an 03 with 35,000 miles. I still owe about $23,000 and I pay $506.90 a month!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so buried into it and I can't really afford to pay more than the minimum. AHHH

There are so many better places to spend your hard earned cash than just to pay off your car loan an be debt free. Actually that doesn't contribute to your credit score as much as paying it over the full term. With interest rates so low why not just budget into your monthly totals?

I want to payoff the car ASAP just in case I get bored of it and want something different. If it is paid off I'll be more inclined to keep it and not take a huge loss on a trade-in. That's my twisted logic on it anyway...

Besides, 4.24% over 5 years was the best I could get and that isn't that low.

People are better tossing the money into account to earn intrest then just paying off a car.... unless like some on here, 30k is pocket change
