Pros and Cons of owning a 2003
Are there any cons of owning a 2003 V///? Premier release bugs? What are some benefits of owning an 03? I see a 2003 as a much better choice if there are indeed no differences, pluses or minuses of owning a 2003 because you can find them for less I might as well get one.

I've had zero problems with my '03. Sometimes I wish the paint was a bit better, but then again, it's really not that bad. Besides, I don't think there's a difference in paint from one year to the next.
As far as ACD goes, while it is a nice feature, you do have the peace of mind that less complexity in design will bring you. Basically, it's one less thing to break and/or maintain on the car.
I suppose a front LSD would be nice, but even without it the car performs quite well.
Another plus for the '03 is that you are guaranteed to get the HID headlights, because all '03s came with them.

I have a used 03. Very very happy with it! I have changed the front brake rotors and pads, however, but since it was used, it's hard to say what the previous owner did to it. Currently running Brembo cross-drilled rotors w/Hawk HPS pads, and no problems as of 3K miles. And aside from that, no problems whatsoever!!! Handles and runs like a dream! I love this car to pieces.

I like my 03 because I got the HIDs and sunroof without having to get leather. I like the cloth seats. I have never been a big fan of leather seats. Plus I got mine for $27,900 brand new cause it was jan. 04 and they wanted to move the 03s out. I doubt with the new price increase that you could find one for that cheap brand new.

Well if you guys read my other posts you will know my story. But Inspite of everything that has happened with my used 03' I AM HAPPY. People who buy Evo's beat on their cars thats the way it is. Make sure the car is under warrenty like I did or I would have been out alot of money. 2 things that I think are the most Important things to worry about on a Used Evo,
1. Transmission- Synchros
2. Transfer Case
Which both got replaced on my used evo under warrenty
