what states have 94 octane?

I buy the burn faster resulting in worse milage, but why do you think there is no power increase? Dave Buschur himself said this:

Granted this car was not stock. Is it your theory the stock tune doesn't compensate for anything over 93?
If the the knock count is higher = pulled timing = less power.

Definite difference in the knock count. I had to make a new tune for the car which I left in the EMS for the event. The car still ran a 12.05 at 114.88 mph.

There is no hp gain from using 94, over 93, and sunoco 94 burns much quicker resulting in worse gas mileage. Sorry had to vent, see a post like this once week.

here in the boise/meridian idaho places, there is only one station (stinker) that sells 94 and it goes for 2.37-2.40, other than that, the next best thing is 93...there is also a place called brico that sells 110 straight out the pump, havent tried that yet so dont know how much it costs

Unless you're racing, 93 should suit you for everyday drives.

I filled with 94 for the first few tanks. I was getting horrible gas mileage. Since there aren't many Sunoco's with 94 here, I had to settle with 93. 93 gave more way better gas mileage, so I stuck with 93.
Yes there's 94 at Sunoco in PA. Around here, Sunoco are folding up. There may be only a few Sunoco stations left in my area.
