FYI ur stock oil is full-synthetic. i probably wont use the good sh*t for @ least 2k.<first change> i had my car now about 4.5 months and i have only 1800 miles on the dial. weather u drive 2k,4k,or 5-6k between changes u should change every 3 months.<depending on driving style> i only drive about 1.5k in 3months but i still start and drive my car hard, like an EVO should be driven, there for i cahnge my oil. its start-up that kills the oil. so, point is change every 2k or 3 months WHICHEVER comes first. if ya do that say good bye to your warranty. It specifically says use ONLY full synthetic oil or teh warranty is void in your owner's manual.
Also I change mine every 3750. I drive in a lot of stop and go traffic so i use the severe driving table for oil changes and the regular for everything else.
