Check out Summit Racing ( www.summitracing.com ) and look for Taylor battery mounts. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions of the stock battery, so you may have to measure. I'm actually getting the Buschur upper intercooler piping as well, and I'm getting the battery relocation for the same reason!

I hear ya, I'm just wondering how confused people are going to be when they pop my hood and don't see a battery. They do have a battery cover, so it will be safe. Just make are you mount it properly

I don't know if they're not good for daily driving, but I heard that mini batterys don't work as well in the winter as a stock size battery. Plus a battery relocation kit costs a fraction of a mini battery kit.

^^ That's a good question. I'll have to look into the advantages/disadvantages of a mini battery. I assume it's going to have all the same power as a regular battery, just that it's smaller. Don't you need a bigger alternator when it comes to stereo equipment?

LOL! what was i thinking?

i live in PA. in the winter we need cold cranking amps. the mini batt just doesnt do it. its not good to run the car daily on a mini. esp if you have a stereo upgrades. minis are for racing, when you have the car striped of its comfort items and only need it to power the esentials. there is a reason its half the size!!

I'm not sure where some of you are getting this info. My mini battery has more cranking amps than the stock battery, I'm running a flip-up DVD screen, upgraded JL's all the way around (6 of them), a JL amp powering a 10" JL W6, Greddy TT, and the LCD alarm with constant in-cabin temperature readings. Daily driven, never had a problem with it dropping below 14.XX amps.

Which mfr and model? Mounted under the hood? My '03's gonna need a battery soon and I should mini-mize if I'm spendin' the cash anyway!

Thanks!
