Radio relocation questions?

I know that this topic has been discussed numerous times but i wanted to know if there was a cubby hole that can go where the original radio is located at? has anyone ever done this? i have an alpine head unit that i just bought and i can barely see it during the day so i wanted to use the relocation kit for better visibility. since in the future i only want to buy one guage, boost, the triple guage pod is not what im looking for. thanks.

hmmm... I'd look online for a "DIN sized cubby hole" It's a pretty standard size, so I'd guess that one that fits any car would fit the Evo. DIN-size is the keyword

I had one like this on my toyota:

they also make din-plate covers, but if you want usable space, then this ^ would be a good option.
