One question RE the 1967 Camaro... since when did Chevrolet manufacture a 350 cid V8 in 1967?!? So far as I know the largest small block available in that year was a 327. The 350 saw limited production in 1968 and didn't really hit mainstream till 1969. Don't think thats a very original SS there...

I believe that's either the rear washer resevoir or a combo front/rear windshield washer resevoir. The intercooler water bottle is in the front according to Mike W from RRE:
