LOTEK a-pillar gauge pod

So I've finally got my LOTEK a-pillar gauge pod in the car, and I have a few pics of it...

I was under the assumption that it would be a replacement for the oem a-pillar piece, but when some friends of mine and I went to install it we found out that it is actually easiest to just bolt it onto the factory a-pillar piece. I was a little annoyed by this, as it seems like it would take a lot more customization to get it to work as a full replacement which is what I was hoping to do.

Anyhow, I just thought I'd share this and show some images since I had a hard time finding any when I was searching for this before I went ahead with it.

The fitment is okay, but is certainly not perfect. Not exactly "show" quality, but luckily that is not my primary goal with this car

Hope this can help anyone who may be interested in an a-pillar setup... I would not say that LOTEK has the greatest, but I guess it gets the job done.

Car was off during the pic... Otherwise it'd be in vacuum

Nothin'.... One of the nice things about having an RS - no crappy factory stereo components to deal with, hehe.

Just out of curiosity, how did yours fit? Did you replace the stock piece or bolt the lancershop.com piece over the stock one?
