Dilema
Hey guys,
I have an 03 with various mods and i will be going overseas for college for about 4 and a half years. I'll be coming back every 6 months to visit but the car is really a problem. I would love to keep it but I dont think its very logical to have a car just sitting there for 4 years being driven very sparingly.
I would sell it but i honestly know this car better than anyone. Maybe others could drive it with a little bit of work. But with the 280s its a big thing to keep the car alive when your warming it up, etc. All in the nature of the beast.
Car needs a new clutch and is at 15k miles exactly. I dont want to put another stcoker in, probably upgrade to a twin disk.
What do you guys think? Spend 2k and sell it? or keep it? I really love this car but im thinking 4 years from now what kind of cars i can get (another evo probably).
Any opinions?

i would sell it and buy a car overseas, you can probably find better cars than the one in the US depending where you are at. It'd be a waste of money to keep the car when you can't enjoy it. Unless you're rich, it'd be better to sell the car, money wise.

Sell it.
Replace the 280's with stock or 264's sell the 280's maybe make a few bucks to cover install or do yourself and make more money. Put a stock clutch in, why spend more money only to sell it and lose that money. Don't sell it broken and don't spend wasted money. Good luck at school.

how much you can sell the car for depends where you live. You get more selling it stock. See what the blue book price is on your car, it's probably gonna sell around that price.

My step father bought a mustang in the U.S. and then moved back to Germany and took the car with him. He was able to drive the car in Europe with his U.S. insurance and registration. That was 12 years ago so i dont know if that is still possible. The whole thing cost $3500 to ship the car over.

unfortunately it looks like selling it might be the best option! Look at it this way, by the time you get back there should be better, nicer cars for you to check out...
