ok i just got my GFB stealth fx dual port bov two day shipping

my problem is......i got the 50/50 vent clicked in thats ok its the spring setting i'm clueless about i don't know if im leaking boost "too loose" or what ever but i don't want to tightin it too much thats bad right?? what should i set it too what should i be listening for and look out for it does not feel like boost is kicking in that stong like before i dont know what to set it too?? i have stock boost right now

and i have one more problem where your clicking too vent or not that piece is kinda separating after i installed it and i can see the lubricant inbetween it is this normal?? if not do you think i got a warrenty for it i just got it today i got it from works and ordered from jamie and yes "i got the famous cuts on my hand"

can anybody please help with the spring settin more to the + or more to the - ???04 with stock boost & what does surgeing sound like? & the bov is kinda separating in the middle is this normal or is it going to blow apart? i'm new to the bov world someone please help

how can you tell the difference between surgeing and fluttering? and if the spring is to loose does that mean that i'm leaking boost?

You really need to do some searching on the forum and researching all over the internet.

There's plenty of information out there to answer these questions!

If you look on the Works or GFB (I can't remember) website it has settings you should use for a stock Evo. It was also in the instructions I got with the BOV. I had that BOV for a little while because my stock DV cracked soon after I bought the car. Just search around on here. I think the settings have been discussed. You could also call Works.

about halfway down on the spring and run like 80/20 its still loud and your car will run better. I used to have one held boost fine but a little surging.

hope you get things going right... lots of ppl have issues with bov's

my advice, stick with stock till you need to upgrade to hold more boost.

Chalk me up as an asshat cause I have the same useless mod. I also changed my taillights, so that makes me twice the asshat. I'm gonna go throw myself off of a bridge now.
