3000ways...how about you drop your hostility....the newbie is right...most EVO's bone stock dyno between 220 and 250.....you don't even have an EVO......and you talk like you invented them......

I'm the one with hostility, re-read your post buddy. Look I have no problem with people expressing their opinions, that is the god given right. Still if you express that opinion and provide absolutely nothing to back up your claims, then hey it's my god given right to call you out on that sh*t. Somebody says something is not possible, tell me why, don't just tell me it's impossible. Too many newbies do this crap, eventually they learn.
hotrod2448 typed this-
Every dyno reads differently even the same brand of dyno. All that number is is a reference. Personally I think the 217whp is more accurate than 240whp. Hell with a catback reflash and retarded factory cams I was only making 252 on the dyno here. I'm sure I could put my car on whatever dyno your talking about and have it put up 300 whp. But, I'm not really making anymore power it just reads different. Maybe yours is a really high reading dyno to make people feel better about their numbers.
Wow such a good response, that clearly states his opinion and reasons for this, and I respond back to him in a respectful manner. Your right I do not own an EVO, and I also do not play for the LA Lakers but I can sit down and talk hours upon hours about them.

The 03/04 models were likely around 275 HP at the crank (220 WHP) where as the 05's are at around 300 HP at the crank (~240 WHP) and I can believe this by the consistant 13.0x @ 105 runs I made on the car bone stock. For the price there are very few cars that match the Evo's all around performance but the STi does come close.

Let me explain something to everyone. I am not trying to be a smart a$$ but I don't see how AMG, S60R, BMW M Power, V and all that $****.... How you guys view it stock. There is nothing stock about these cars. All and every car that is made by those companies are after market things but with warranty. Like the FQ-400. I hate it when people say, yeahhh I got a stock AMG... what the hell man, AMG is aside from Mercedes, they are a performance shop and they get speciall tuning. Look at this I spent $30K on my car and $2000 in parts. Last time I was at the track I ran 11.9 and my car is a freaking beast on the track not to mention on the Highway. I don't have any problems with any of the car mentioned here.
I believe a fare comparisson would be the FQ Evos Try matching anything agaisnt those sweet cars... But once again we are very blessed to be driving EVOs, the only car in the world that is so cheap and with the right tuning can school any car in the world. We didn't have to sell our life, underware, the shirts of our back to get a super car.

I'm sure the Evo slaloms and tracks much better, though, as the E55 weighs in at over 2 tons...
Also, the new m5 will be sporting 500hp...

umm, back to the topic:
how about the Galant VR-4, kinda rare nowadays, but a beast when tuned. I ran against one in my friends Volvo 740 Turbo, and got beat. He was laying down at least 350 whp and had a full leather interior, now that is a great package.

I got all the parts from my buddys shop so not that bad. around $2100. The car is a monster. Right now I am getting the new Rabbit turbo upgrade. I seen people do something like 375 whp without cams and no FMIC. Should be interesting after that upgrade.

good call on the VR4, but you opened up a whole can of worms if we are includng cars from years past. and obviously the price of a used car wouldn't compare to anything new. audi's are very nice and so is the caddy. i would own either for a daily driver. did someone mention the STI. j/k. READ the other's post before you post, or at least the first one.
